Apply and Register for Spring 2025

For spring quarter, we have a robust schedule of classes on campus, and fully online or hybrid. Be sure to complete all steps for priority registration to be eligible for your earliest registration date possible.

Important Dates to Remember

FEB 24

Registration begins for continuing students who have declared an academic major; selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and updated their education plan.

FEB 25

Registration begins for new students who have completed all steps for priority registration.

APR 7

Spring quarter starts. See academic calendar.

Continuing Students: Are You Ready for Spring Classes?

Looking for Second Spring/Late Start Classes?

Take a late-start course that satisfies your UC or CSU GE requirements.

  • Six-week, late-start classes run May 20-June 28.
  • Apply for spring quarter to attend late-start classes.
  • Search schedule for spring late-start courses.
  • Register for for late-start classes starting on your priority registration date. See Get Your Date to Register.

COVID-19 Update

Effective July 1, 2023, Foothill no longer requires proof of vaccination for on-campus classes and masking is no longer highly encouraged. However, we do encourage you to be vaccinated and keep up with the recommended COVID boosters. 

Also, we ask that you stay home if you do not feel well and to inform the college if you have been on campus and subsequently diagnosed with COVID. See details here.

Virtual Campus Online Support

  • If this is your first quarter at Foothill, please check out our Virtual Campus website for all the online resources available to you, including Live Chat, to help you with your technical needs!
  • Also explore our Online Learning website to get started with Canvas by Instructure,  our Course Management System (CMS) used in all online and hybrid courses at Foothill College.

Parking Permits Not Required for Spring 2025

Parking will be free in the Foothill and Sunnyvale campus parking lots for the 2024-2025 academic year, summer 2024 through spring 2025.

NOTE: Citations will be given for vehicles parked out of the normal parking spaces, in handicap spaces without a display placard, and in red zones.

Join us from 9 a.m.—3 p.m. 8000 Building Plaza, on either day!

Please join us if you are a new or continuing student who has yet to complete all steps for priority registration. Get started with your transition to college and staying on track with your educational goals. Attend one of our College Kickstart Days enrollment workshops to register for spring classes!
