About Our Division

Business and Social Sciences Summer 2020 Update

Dear Students,

As we head into the first week of summer classes, we know our courses are at maximum capacity and wait lists are full. While many students are seeking to add, we will not be able to accommodate additional students by adding new classes.

The Dean cannot request that students be added to an instructor's class, so please understand written requests to the Dean cannot be acted upon.

The Business and Social Sciences Division has scheduled as many summer classes as it possibly can given current resources. While we know many students are on wait lists and seeking to add, we do not have the budget to add additional classes, and are focusing our resources on the remainder of our academic year, which begins September 21 with Fall Quarter.

Registration for fall classes begins July 15 for continuing students and July 16 for new students who have completed steps for priority enrollment for fall.

We expect demand to be strong again, so we encourage students to apply early, and utilize the priority registration process to get the classes they need as quickly as possible.

For more information on registration for fall, go to our Apply and Register page.
