Veterans Resource Center
Welcome to the Foothill Veterans Resource Center!
The Veterans Resource Center (VRC) assists military veterans, service members, and their dependents in successfully navigating their college experience. We provide personal and academic advisement, workshops, and holistic personal and professional development opportunities to help students’ transition to Foothill College. We believe veterans possess unique abilities and characteristics that, when nourished, will help them succeed inside and outside of the classroom.
Supporting Your Success
The VRC provides dedicated, individualized assistance to veterans, active duty personnel, and dependents.
- Assistance with applying for state and federal education benefits. Including CalVet College Fee Waiver for Veteran Dependents, VA Education Benefits and DoD-Tuition Assistance
- VA Work-Study
- Lounge space
- Computers
The Veteran Resource Center is a great spot to get what you need. Some days you need to print out a course syllabus get a snack or check in with your education plan with a counselor. Other days you might need to check out a textbook, get a book voucher, or get another snack. After a long road back to a full time student course load, I find myself returning to the VRC just to get a nice kick in the motivation seat. Keeps me laughing and studying. -Alfredo capps, Army Veteran
