Update for Transfer StudentsIf you’re a new student who declared an associate degree for transfer (ADT) as your goal, you’ll find a helpful education plan already loaded in your Degree Works account. Check it out and meet with a counselor if you have any questions. Note: You can find your educational goal in the MyPortal registration app and update it as needed. |
Transfer Center Announcement
Fall 2024 University Admissions Final Official Transcripts and IGETC/CSU GE Certifications
Foothill College and De Anza College are in the same district and on the quarter system. UC's and CSU's know that they will receive students' final official transcripts and IGETC/CSU GE certifications after July 1st. Please order either or both documents as soon as your spring grades are posted.
Students may contact the Foothill Admissions office after July 15th if their university has not received either document.

The Transfer Center will offer 15-minute Quick Questions on telephone or Zoom during Fall 2023 on Tuesdays, phone, Zoom or in-person and Fridays, phone or Zoom, 11:30 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Please call 650-949-7821 or 650-949-7423 or use the website chat feature to sign-up.

Associate Degree for Transfer to CSU
An ADT is a guaranteed pathway for transfer into the California State University (CSU) system.
UC Transfer Agreement Guarantee
Six (6) University of California (UC) campuses offer TAG to students from all California community colleges.
UCLA Transfer Alliance
Foothill Honors Scholars receive guaranteed priority consideration for admission to UCLA.
USF Guaranteed Admission
If the University of San Francisco is your transfer destination, join the Humanities Mellon Scholars program.

Transferring to a university requires patience, research, and hard work. Our Transfer Center team is here to help! We provide a variety of coordinated resources, activities and services to assist students through the transfer process.
We strongly recommend you meet with a counselor early in the process to ensure your educational plan meets your academic and transfer goals.

Our Mission
The mission of the Foothill College Transfer Center is to provide the necessary resources and services in order to increase transfer opportunities to baccalaureate institutions for underrepresented students, to increase transfer rates for the student population as directed by Title 5, Section 51027, and to support the Foothill College mission of committing itself to providing access to outstanding education opportunities for all of our students.
