Transfer Center Appointments

 

If appointments are all booked in either center, please  call to sign-in for Quick Questions. Read details below.

UC application deadline is November 30.

CSU application deadline is December 4. (Recommend submit by Nov. 30)

COUNSELORS CAN HELP WITH:

  • UC Personal Insight Questions and other college essays
  • Calculating GPA's
  • Verify course requirements up to spring 2021
  • Assist with UC, CSU, and Common App applications


 

The Transfer Center has "Quick Questions" every day from November 6 – December 4. 

(Please note: Foothill College will be closed on November 26 & 27).

 

HOW TO SIGN-IN FOR QUICK QUESTIONS:

Call (650) 949-7821 or (650) 949-7423 during regular business hours. You may request to use phone or Zoom.  Students will be seen on a first -come, first-served basis and can meet with a counselor up to 3 times each day (wait times may vary). 

TRANSFER CENTER OFFICE HOURS:

Mon. and Tues.  9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Wed.  9:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Thurs. 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Friday  9:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Lunch break 1:00 -1:30 pm daily

  • Saturdays: 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
  • Katie Ha's office hours for application writing: Wednesdays 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (through 11/18)

  • Click on "Go to LRC Tutoring Center" (red button)
  • Follow the prompts to sign in

About the Transfer Center

Transferring to a university requires patience, research, and hard work. Our Transfer Center team is here to help! We provide a variety of coordinated resources, activities and services to assist your through the transfer process.

We strongly recommend you meet with a counselor early in the process to ensure your educational plan meets your academic and transfer goals.

Our Mission

The mission of the Foothill College Transfer Center is to provide the necessary resources and services in order to increase transfer opportunities to baccalaureate institutions for underrepresented students, to increase transfer rates for the student population as directed by Title 5, Section 51027, and to support the Foothill College mission of committing itself to providing access to outstanding education opportunities for all of our students.

 


LEARN HOW TO BE A COMPETITIVE TRANSFER APPLICANT:

 

CNSL 8/8H: Transfer Readiness (1 Unit)

Provides a global perspective about the transfer process from a California community college to a four-year university, including enhance transfer eligibility, transfer exploration, transfer policies, academic requirements, transfer planning and process, developing strong college essays, and using available tools and services in support of transfer goals. Transferable: UC/CSU.
