What Is ASSIST?

ASSIST is the official transfer and articulation database for California’s public colleges and universities. It helps you see how courses completed at a California Community College can be applied toward a degree at a University of California (UC) or California State University (CSU) campus.

How to Use ASSIST for Transfer Planning

Visit Assist.org to explore how your coursework transfers between institutions. The site displays:

  • Transferable course lists.

  • Major and department articulation agreements.

  • CSU GE-Breadth and IGETC transfer information.
