Apply & Register for Fall 2024

For fall quarter, we have a robust schedule of classes — on campus, and fully online or hybrid. 

Be sure to complete all steps for priority registration to be eligible for your earliest registration date possible. For help completing the steps, attend one of our College Kickstart Days on Thursday, July 25 or Monday, July 29.

Important Dates to Remember

JULY 25

Registration begins for continuing students who have completed priority enrollment steps. Check your date to register in MyPortal.
JULY 29

Registration begins for new students who have completed all steps for priority registration.
AUG 5

Registration begins for dually-enrolled high school students.
SEPT 23

Fall quarter begins.

COVID-19 Update

Effective July 1, 2023, Foothill no longer requires proof of vaccination for on-campus classes and masking is no longer highly encouraged.

However, students must still report a COVID-19 infection to Foothill directly. We ask that you stay home if you do not feel well and inform the college if you have been on campus and subsequently been diagnosed with COVID. See details here.

Foothill College Promise (Free Tuition)

First-time, full-time college students in 12+ units are eligible to have their fall quarter tuition and fees covered by the Foothill College Promise. Learn more.

  • If this is your first quarter at Foothill, please check out our Virtual Campus website for all the online resources available to you, including Live Chat, to help you with your technical needs!
  • Also explore our Online Learning website to get started with Canvas by Instructure,  our Course Management System (CMS) used in all online and hybrid courses at Foothill College.

Parking Permits Not Required for Fall 2024

Parking will be free in the Foothill and Sunnyvale campus parking lots for the 2024-2025 academic year, summer 2024 through spring 2025.

NOTE: Citations will be given for vehicles parked out of the normal parking spaces, in handicap spaces without a display placard, and in red zones.

9 a.m.—3 p.m. in the Library Quad, on either day!

Please join us if you are a new or continuing student who has yet to complete all steps for priority registration. Get started with your transition to college and staying on track with your educational goals. Attend one of our College Kickstart Days enrollment workshops to register for fall classes!
