• Description: Explicit instruction and practice in writing a variety of short fiction forms, including short narratives, flash fiction and traditional short stories. Assignments include reading, analyzing and responding to published works and student work, as well as writing original work. Analysis of public readings and/or interviews with writers.
• Prerequisite: Demonstrated proficiency in English by placement via multiple measures OR through an equivalent placement process OR completion of ESLL 125 & ESLL 249.
