Wellness Ambassadors
Meet Our Wellness Ambassadors
Wellness Ambassadors are student representatives of the Foothill College Mental Health and Wellness Center who work alongside licensed clinical clinicians. They help promote mental health services, reduce stigma, build community, and foster an inclusive and non judgmental campus culture. Hear about our student team in their own words.
What is up everyone. My name is Rightful, and I am a first year economics student
at Foothill College. I moved from Malaysia to the United States to pursue my studies.
I enjoy traveling, exploring different cultures, running, and reading financial news. I strongly believe mental health plays a major role in motivation and daily decision making.
If we do not feel well mentally, it becomes difficult to perform at our best. Caring for your mental health is something you owe to yourself and your loved ones. If you ever feel overwhelmed, reaching out for help is always a better option than doing nothing.
Hi, my name is Vivian, and I am a second year Psychology major. My journey has been
shaped by resilience through experiences with racism, cultural barriers, and ageism.
I strive to challenge stereotypes, dismantle harmful narratives, and promote understanding and inclusivity. My goal is to support others facing similar challenges and help build a community that values diversity and strength.
I am an active officer in the Psychology Club and Active Minds Club and also work at the Learning and Writing Center. I enjoy traveling and exploring different cuisines.
Hi, my name is Hannah Martin, and I am a first year student majoring in Business Administration
from Sydney, Australia.
After adjusting to a new culture and routine in the United States, I became passionate about helping students feel connected and supported. My goal as a Wellness Ambassador is to create a welcoming space where students can thrive and connect with Mental Health and Wellness Center services.
In my free time, I enjoy crafting, traveling, and meeting new people.
