Foothill Music Theatre

Since its inception in 1980, the mission of Foothill Music Theatre (FMT) is to produce exceptional musical theatre, striving to find resonance, representation and relevance in musical theatre for our students and our community.   From classic to contemporary musicals, FMT brings fully produced excellent quality shows with live orchestra and a loyal following, generating full-houses for each production. 

Over the years, FMT has garnered hundreds of awards and award nominations from the prestigious Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle, Theatre Bay Area Awards and Dean Goodman Choice awards for productions such as Into The Woods, Cinderella, Shrek, Ragtime, Spring Awakening, Sweeney Todd, Little Shop of Horrors, Show Boat, Sunday in the Park with George, South Pacific, Urinetown, West Side Story and Oklahoma! 

FMT auditions are open to the public as well as students, and the company's reputation draws superb talent from throughout the greater Bay Area. In addition to high quality productions, this provides an invaluable opportunity for students to work with these experienced performing artists.
