Fine Arts Rental Information
Theatre and Fine Arts Classroom Rentals
Fine Arts Facilities, including the Smithwick Theatre, Lohman Theatre, and Appreciation Hall are available first as classroom spaces, followed by use for other campus events.
The Smithwick Theatre is available for rental Wednesday through Friday evenings and weekends.
The 941-seat theatre includes a stage, two large wing rooms (which can be converted to quick-change booths), two downstairs dressing rooms, and a box office as part of the hourly hall rental. A non-profit rate for hall rental is available for current 501(c)3 licensed groups who are not charging admission or donations for the event.

The Fine Arts and Communication Division offers its Appreciation Hall for rentals, available on evenings and weekends (except for scheduled class time).
Appreciation Hall (Building 1501) has 168 seats equipped with two microphones and AV system. It is perfect for your next event such as Speaker Series, Piano Practice or Music Recital. We have a grand piano available for rent, Hamlin Grand.

While the Lohman Theatre is often used for Theatre Department productions and classes, it is available on a limited basis, particularly during winter and summer breaks.
Two (2) week minimum.
The theatre seats up to 140 (fixed seating plus chairs that can be set up in a front row) with access to two dressing rooms, a green room, lobby and concession booth, and loading dock. Hourly labor and daily equipment use will also be charged.
The box office in the Lohman is not available to renters.

Each classroom contains projection equipment, desk-chairs, and white boards. Two of the rooms also contain Steinway B pianos. See below for images and more information.
