Phase I of a state-mandated initiative — aimed at simplifying student transfer and ensuring uniformity in course numbers across California Community Colleges — is underway  for Fall 2025. This impacts six Foothill courses plus their honors course version. View the six courses listed here.
When viewing a course in the schedule of classes, you will see a letter at the end of the class course section number IF that class is NOT being taught FULLY in person on campus. View section letter code definitions.

Foothill offers many courses with free ($0) or low-cost (under $30) materials.

To find them In the Searchable Class Schedule, open the Textbooks dropdown filter and select:

  • No Cost ($0)
  • Less than < $30
