Description: Course provides skills development and internship opportunities in environmental horticulture for the Winter season. This is an extension of classroom instruction, covering topics such as woody tree and shrub pruning, drainage practices, winter plant protection, and rainwater harvesting. This course offers students learning opportunities through a combination of on-site practical field experience, independent research, student internship, community service and industry related educational opportunities in the green industry.
