Description:
Third course in the DMS 70 clinical rotation series. Preceptorship in a medical setting that allows the student to obtain technical expertise with emphasis on mastery of knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform sonographic studies and procedures. Major emphasis is on intermediate-advanced level of knowledge and competency for abdominal, gynecology, obstetrics, and vascular sonography. Intended for students in the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program; enrollment is limited to students accepted in the program.
