Academic & Progress Notice and Pause FAQs
- Log into MyPortal and click on the “Registration” tab.
- Click “View Holds” in “Registration Tools” box on left.
If you are a current student who was recently placed on Academic & Progress Notice and Pause after last quarter, you will receive an e-mail with specific instructions on which Academic & Progress Notice and Pause activity to complete and steps to get started.
If you are returning to Foothill and need to clear your Academic & Progress Notice and Pause hold, email us at fhprobation@fhda.edu with your name and CWID. We will help you with the next steps.
If you are on Academic & Progress Notice and Pause at Foothill College, you need to first complete our Academic & Progress Notice and Pause activity so we can clear the hold in MyPortal for you.
Yes, the information will be a good refresher and is the only way to clear the hold.
If you have an active Academic & Progress Notice and Pause hold on your student account, you cannot use the registration system nor see you
unofficial transcripts in your student registration app in MyPortal. Once you successfully
complete the Academic & Progress Notice and Pause activity and you hold is cleared, you may resume using these functions in the app.
