Subject: ASFC Budget Process Fiscal Year 2020-2021
Dear Foothill Community,
The Associated Students of Foothill College (ASFC) is beginning the process of developing its budget for the 2020-2021 academic year. ASFC provides funding based on its annual Mission-Based Budgeting Guidelines (see above). Also find the budget request form.
If funds are granted in this process, your organization will have a line item in the ASFC budget booklet. Generally, the amount requested is for recurring costs related to campus events, programs, or services that support students.
We would welcome requests from your service area, and we are particularly mindful
of programs and services that might have been reduced and directly impact students.
Part of the ASFC mission is to get more students involved in the budget process. We
welcome college employees to support student presenters, but only the students who
are benefited by the programs will be allowed to submit the request and present during
the hearing process.
Please submit completed requests to the ASFC Secretary in the Student Activities Office in the Campus Center, Building 2000, Room 2009. The deadline to submit ASFC Budget Requests is Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 12PM.
We will hold our hearings on Tuesday, January 30, 2020 and Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from 2-4PM. Additional budget request forms are available in the Student Activities Office, Room 2009.
