Apply & Register for Winter 2025

For winter quarter, we have a robust schedule of classes — on campus, and fully online or hybrid . Be sure to complete all steps for priority registration to be eligible for your earliest registration date possible.

Important Dates to Remember

NOV 12	Priority registration begins.
NOV 18	Registration begins for continuing students.
NOV 19	Registration begins for new students who have completed all steps for priority registration.
NOV 20	Registration begins for new, non-matriculated students who have selected an educational goal of transfer, degree or certificate; and declared an academic major BUT have not completed assessment, orientation or an educational plan.
JAN 6	Winter quarter starts. See academic calendar.

COVID-19 Update

Effective July 1, 2023, Foothill no longer requires proof of vaccination for on-campus classes and masking is no longer highly encouraged. However, we do encourage you to be vaccinated and keep up with the recommended COVID boosters. 

Also, we ask that you stay home if you do not feel well and to inform the college if you have been on campus and subsequently diagnosed with COVID. See details here.

Winter Recess & Holiday Closure Information

Winter Recess Dates • Dec. 16–Jan. 3

• Most offices will be open with services Dec. 16–23 and Jan. 2-3 during the winter recess.
• ALL on-campus and virtual offices will be CLOSED Dec. 24–Jan. 1 for the winter holidays.
• Winter 2025 classes start Monday, Jan. 6.
