Virtual Reality (VR) / XR Lab
VR / eXtended Reality Lab
Student Spotlight
Virtual Reality (VR) and eXtended Reality (XR) encompass a new generation of immersive technologies that transform the way people interact with digital information and the world around them. By blending physical and virtual environments through virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), and other immersive experiences, XR enables users to explore, create, collaborate, and solve problems in ways that traditional screens cannot. These technologies are reshaping education, healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, architecture, entertainment, and scientific research by making complex ideas more interactive, accessible, and experiential. As immersive technologies continue to evolve, VR and XR are redefining how people learn, communicate, innovate, and experience the world—opening new possibilities for creativity, discovery, and human connection.
