ASFC Job Application
Before applying, please review the eligibility requirements below. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee employment.
General Requirements Student workers may work a maximum of 19 hours per week, regardless of whether school is in session. All student employment positions end on or before June 30th of the academic year. To continue beyond June 30th, a new job assignment card must be completed in advance.
To be eligible, you must have:
- A valid Social Security card and photo ID (International students will receive assistance obtaining a Social Security number).
- Fewer than 150 attempted units at Foothill and De Anza Colleges combined.
- A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.
- A quarterly GPA of 2.0 or higher in your most recent quarter.
- Completed fingerprinting.
- Foothill College must be your primary school and you must be pursuing an academic goal here.
Each quarter of employment, you must be enrolled in:
- 12+ units (standard)
- 6+ units if hired through CalWORKs or Federal Work Study
To work Summer Quarter, you must either be enrolled in at least 6 summer units, or have earned 12+ units in Spring Quarter while continuing Spring employment.
