If you need help in a class, you're not alone! We offer tutoring programs to help you succeed with your academic goals. Use all available resources early to get the best start in your classes. We are here to help!

Foothill College Virtual Tutoring

June 29–August 6 • Summer 2020

We use Zoom to pair you with a tutor. You'll need a quiet space and a computer with a microphone to participate.

Steps to Meet with a Tutor

SELECT program from dropdown menu for tutoring hours.
LOG INTO CANVAS
FIND the Student Support Portal or Tutoring Link on the left menu.
FIND the Tutoring Tile on the SS Portal page.

Pass the Torch (Peer-to-peer tutoring for core courses in English, ESLL and Math)

Pass the Torch will be closed for summer. The office will be open again on Sept. 1.

Pass the Torch teams will meet online via ZOOM, according to team schedules. For more information, contact Elvia Herrera by email at herreraelvia@fhda.edu.

Summer Hours

June 29–Aug. 6
M-TH: Noon–4 p.m.
F: Closed

Tutoring available for Accounting, Chemistry, CS, Economics, Math, Physics all levels.
Only the Main Lab will be open.
The Garden is closed during the Summer.

NetTutor (24/7 online tutoring)

For hours when the Teaching & Learning Center (TLC), STEM Center, and Pass the Torch are closed, or for subjects not covered by Foothill's tutoring centers, you can get additional online tutoring support from NetTutor, a 24/7 online tutoring service. Provides a summer review session for students interested in preparing for an English placement retest.
