Class Schedule

• Description: The course includes basic chemical laboratory techniques and methods, a survey of important chemical principles with emphasis on problem solving, and a description of the elements and their compounds. Intended for students who wish to meet general education requirements in physical science or need background preparation for CHEM 1A.
• Prerequisite: Intermediate Algebra or equivalent.

• Advisory: Advisory: UC will grant transfer credit for a maximum of one course from the following: CHEM 25, 30A or 30B.
• Repeatability: Not Repeatable.
• Hours: 4 hours lecture per week, 3 hours lab per week. 84 hours total per quarter.
