How to Apply

The Radiologic Technology Program is a 23-month program with selective admission. Before applying, please see prerequisites.

Important Note

Admission Policy

Admission is based on criteria approved by Foothill College and consistent with State and Federal law, regulations, and Program accreditation guidelines.  Primary admission criteria include completion of prerequisite courses with a C or better, possessing the minimum GPA prerequisite, and compliance with the technical standards stated in the application.

Selection Procedure

  • Completed electronic applications are recieved by the March 1st deadline and reviewed for accuracy by cross-referencing all transcripts on file.  All applications meeting the admission criteria are placed in a lottery. 
  • Final selection is made during  April each year, and applicants will be notified by email of acceptance or non-acceptance by early May via email.

Lottery Selection

26-30 eligible students are randomly drawn and admitted to the program only once a year, beginning with a ten-week summer session that starts in July.

No Wait List

The Foothill College Radiology program does not have a wait list.  Applicants who have previously applied, and wish to reapply, must submit the current application each year.
