The Foothill Rainbow Alliance includes faculty and staff working collectively to make Foothill College a better and more inclusive place for LGBTQ+ students—both academically and culturally!

We're Here! We;re queer and were allies! A long-waited aspiration finally comes true—Foothill College now has an official LGBTQ+ affinity group! Introducing the Rainbow Alliance—a non-profit organization committed to promoting visibility, advocacy, and support for LGBTQ+ employees and allies; while also fostering academic success and cultural engagement among students who identify as LGBTQ+ or have an interested in LGBTQ+ culture.

What's Next

Creating the organization is only the beginning—the next step is growing our community! There are many ways to get involved:

• Join as a member—attend meetings as your schedule allows.
• Consider an officer position–PGA/PAA credit available!
• Support through donations—even $5 can make a difference.

Every contribution, whether time, effort, or financial support, strengthens our group and ensures LGBTQ+ representation for staff, faculty, administration, and students alike. Funds raised can support culturally immersive events and provide scholarships for students.

And the Category Is... Representation Realness! The Rainbow Alliance joins our college’s existing affinity groups as a recognized tax-deductible nonprofit, standing alongside: African American Network Asian/Pacific American Network Organización Latino Americana Together, we uplift, support, and advocate for our communities.
