A credit class awards college units and appears on your Foothill College transcript.

Credit classes generally include assignments, projects, attendance expectations, exams, or grades. They may be taken toward a degree, certificate, transfer requirement, career goal, or personal interest.

Depending on the course, a Pass/No Pass grading option may be available.

A noncredit class does not award college units and generally does not use traditional A-F letter grades. Depending on the class or program, students may receive a Pass/No Pass evaluation.

Noncredit classes are designed to support personal enrichment, skill development, career preparation, and lifelong learning.

Noncredit classes have no tuition or registration fees and may be repeated, giving you the flexibility to continue developing your skills at your own pace.

There is no fee to apply to Foothill College.

Yes. Parking is available on campus, including designated accessible parking spaces.

You do not need to be pursuing a degree, preparing for a career, or completing an academic requirement. You are welcome to enroll because you enjoy the subject, want to develop a new skill, wish to meet people, or have always wanted to learn something new.
