Why Study Music Technology

If you’re passionate about music, sound, and technology, you’re in the right place. At Foothill College, you’ll turn your creativity into real-world skills with hands-on training in one of the nation’s top music technology programs.

Foothill College launched one of the first music technology programs in the country back in 1997. Today, it’s one of California’s largest and most respected programs, known for outstanding instruction and professional-quality facilities.

Design Your Experience

You can customize your course of study with electives in music, media studies, photography, graphic design, and computer science. All musical styles and genres are welcome. Your talent, interests, and hard work shape your journey here.

All MTEC courses transfer to California State Universities, and many transfer to the University of California system.
