Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene (BS-DH)

The Dental Hygiene Program at Foothill College now offers a Bachelor of Science degree and prepares you to take the National Dental Hygiene Board Examination and qualify for the state or regional Dental Hygiene licensure examination.

Accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, our program has been training dental hygienists since 1964.

Foothill was given initial approval to participate in the pilot program for the baccalaureate degree by the 13-member California Community Colleges Board of Governors in consultation with representatives from the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC) systems.

We expect to award our first bachelor of science degrees to the graduating class of 2018.
