How to Graduate from Foothill College
You’ve completed the work — now it’s time to celebrate and access your official credentials. Use the links below to claim your digital diploma or certificate and learn about participating in the commencement ceremony.
Claim Your Digital Diploma or CertificateFoothill College partners with Parchment to provide graduates with a secure digital version of their diploma or Certificate of Achievement. Commencement Ceremony
Commencement is a special event where graduates are recognized andazQelebrated for their achievements. Participation in the ceremony is optional and separate from receiving your diploma or certificate.
Graduates can take part in the annual ceremony to:
- Celebrate with classmates, family, and friends.
- Walk in the ceremony and be recognized.
- Mark the completion of their academic journey.
You must still complete all graduation requirements and submit your petition to officially receive your degree or certificate.
Petition to GraduateBefore you can receive your diploma or certificate, you must officially petition to graduate. This step confirms that you have met (or are on track to meet) all academic requirements for your program. To petition:
