About the Program
Art is a powerful expression of emotion about the world around us. Our program teaches you the history and theory of art and provides practical experience working with multiple media. You'll leave with a portfolio ready to take to a four-year school or into an entry-level position.
Our studio art areas encourage student life and create community. Our workshops attract artists from the region and students from other colleges. Student clubs, art events, art exhibitions, visiting artists programs and speaker series are some examples of what you'll find through our art program.
