Become an Ambassador
Build your skills in leadership, customer service, public speaking, professionalism, critical thinking, service learning, teamwork, campus touring, communication, and more.
We are seeking energetic student employees who want to strengthen their service leadership skills. If hired, you’ll serve as an ambassador in one of our Student Services departments.
Application Criteria
- Past or current leadership experience (or interest in gaining leadership experience at Foothill College).
- Current full-time Foothill student in good academic standing (2.0 GPA or higher) who meets employment criteria.
- Selected applicants will be contacted for in-person or online interviews.

- Complete the application for your desired position.
If selected for an interview, you’ll be contacted by a staff member from the Ambassadors Program. Most positions are in-person, with some hybrid options available.
Volunteer positions are also available for other ambassador roles.

Leadership and Representation
The Student Ambassador Program offers a leadership opportunity for students dedicated to serving and representing Foothill College. Student Ambassadors represent Foothill College at Student Services locations and community events and advocate for resources and information that help peers develop a strong college and career mindset.
Ambassador Objectives & Student Learning Outcomes
- Provide high-quality, professional customer service to current and prospective students.
- Engage and support students through a comprehensive peer-to-peer model.
- Build Ambassadors’ personal and professional skills in service leadership development.
- Gain professionalism and real-world service leadership experience.
- Develop practical leadership tools including time management, meeting facilitation, group dynamics, and team building.
