About/Biography
Lisa Stone is a professional photographer and educator with over 15 years of experience
in fine art, documentary, and wedding photography. She holds an Associate of Arts
in Photography from Foothill College, Bachelor's degree in Business from San Jose
State University, and a Master's degree in Photography from the Academy of Art.
She has photographed more than 300 weddings, along with a wide range of assignments
across nearly every genre of photography. Her visual process is rooted in intention,
using the interplay of light, framing, and timing to create cohesive, story-driven
images. She often blends natural and artificial light on location, allowing for creative
flexibility and precise control in a variety of environments.
