About Me
Kate Jordahl is a photographer, editor, educator, and curator. She is a Professor Emerita of Fine Arts and Communication/Photo at Foothill College, California, USA, and co-owner of True North Editions, Bellingham, Washington, USA. With her husband, Geir Jordahl, she has published/designed/edited over 40 photography books and received over 30 design and publishing awards. Jordahl's photographs are in numerous collections, including the Bibliothéque Nationale de France, Paris; the San Jose Museum of Art; the Santa Barbara Museum of Art; the University of Texas at Dallas; and the Yosemite Museum. In addition to her work on the photobook, Jordahl's artwork focuses on handmade and alternative photographic processes, including cyanotype, platinum/palladium, and lumens.
