1. My division does not want to create one overarching plan. Several departments want to do something different. What do I do?
Though it is strongly encouraged for division/department/area leads to identify one shared issue and goal to address from the SVE, we understand some folks may want to address various areas at the same time.
2. I don't feel comfortable sharing the information learned at the Fall Institute with my constituents so quickly when I am just learning the information myself.
We'll provide team leads with a PowerPoint at the Fall Institute that you can use to present to your constituents during Flex Day.
3. Why do we have to finish the action template so fast and in the same timeframe?
To maintain momentum. And, we're going through it together to take advantage of the team cohort as we all work through something new.
4. Do we have to create an entirely new action plan if we've already been doing the work?
No! You can take the work you're doing and put it into your action plan template. The action plan template will be useful to help you organize your work.
5. If we are already working on XXXX plan, do we have to come up with something different for 13-55?
The Office of Equity will help ensure there is alignment across the various initiatives so that our efforts are synergistic and don't complete with each other. We will work with you to conceptualize how your 13-55 plan can complement and support your efforts in other initiatives.
6. Is there any compensation for faculty and staff to serve on the Implementation Team?
Yes! Faculty and staff can earn hours towards PGA credit. Please refer to the details here on the main 13-55 page.
7. Do the 13-55 Implementattion Teams have access to financial resources?
Yes!
