Planning Your Visit

Thank you for being a patron of Foothill Theatre Arts and Foothill Music Theatre. Below is some information to assist you in planning your visit for an upcoming performance. Directions

From Interstate 280

1. Take I-280 and exit at El Monte Road heading east (toward Foothill College).
2. Follow El Monte Road up the hill toward the campus entrance.
3. Turn left into the main campus entrance at Foothill College.
4. Once on campus, continue downhill toward the roundabout with the fountain.
5. Turn right into Parking Lot 8.

From South Bay / San Jose Area

1. Get onto US-101 North or 280 North toward San Francisco. 280 North will drop you off closest to El Monte Road.
2. Exit at El Monte Road and go east toward Foothill College.
3. Turn left at the Foothill College entrance.
4. Follow signs to Parking Lot 8.

From Palo Alto / Mountain View

1. Take Foothill Expressway (CA-82) or El Camino Real (CA-82) north.
2. Turn east onto El Monte Road.
3. Continue up the hill toward Foothill College.
4. Turn left onto campus and head to Parking Lot 8.

Parking

Parking Lot 8 is the closest lot for the theatre. From Parking Lot 8, you’ll have a short, easy walk to the Lohman Theatre via a few stairs or access ramp. Please park in Regular or Staff parking spaces. Handicap parking spaces are reserved for vehicles with a valid placard or license plate only.

There is no charge for parking in lot 8 through March 31, 2026.

Seating & Accessibility

Lohman Theatre is an intimate, 150-seat venue with stadium-style seating arranged on three sides of the stage, creating a close and immersive theatre experience.

Please note that all standard seats require climbing at least one stair to access.

Wheelchair-accessible seating is available on the ground floor and must be selected as a special ticket type at the time of purchase. If you need assistance, the box office is happy to help.

Concessions

A concessions stand will be open before the performance and during intermission. We accept Visa and Mastercard only. Concessions sales directly support the Theatre Arts Department, and your generosity is greatly appreciated. Please note that only water is permitted inside the auditorium.

Late Seating

To minimize disruption to performers and audience members, latecomers will be seated at an appropriate pause in the performance, at the discretion of house staff. Seats may differ from those printed on your ticket. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
