Grand Opening of Campus Center Student Services

Foothill College announces the College's Owls Nest Community Resource Center, Multicultural Center, Mental Health & Wellness Center, and ASFC Welcome Center - all in one place.
These centers will empower students during their time here at Foothill College.
Owls Nest Community Resource Center
Foothill College strongly believes that no student should face hunger while pursuing their educational and career goals. However, an increasing number of students are facing food insecurity. With the support of the Assistance League® of Los Altos, the Owls Nest Community Resource Center now includes an in-person food pantry.

BIPOC Multicultural Center (MCC)
The BIPOC Multicultural Center (MCC) is a gathering place for intellectual and cultural enrichment – where individuals, small groups and student organizations of all kinds can study, plan and organize together.
The MCC is used for meetings, special events and community-building activities with a multicultural flavor. Activities are supported by Foothill Student Government (ASFC) funding.
The MCC hopes to foster a sense of belonging and community for all students, offer cultural competency workshops and programs, offer advising services that consider cultural differences, partner with student clubs and organizations of diverse cultures, as well as provide a safe space to gather and connect.

Mental Health & Wellness Center
The Mental Health & Wellness Center provides support to students experiencing difficult with academic pressure, isolation and loneliness, sexuality, family conflict or separation, friendship and love, stress and/or anxiety, substance use and abuse, depression and despair, death or loss, roommate disputes, relationships, cultural adjustment, and more.
In addition to on-campus support, the Mental Health & Wellness Center offers TimelyCare, an online, 24/7 mental health support service, giving students an opportunity to speak with a mental health professional for virtual care from anywhere.

ASFC Welcome Center
The ASFC Welcome Center provides students with the opportunity to get an OwlCard (student ID card) and quarterly stickers, VTA SmartPasses, Clipper Cards, ASFC Employment opportunities, discounted AMC & Cinemark movie passes, ePRINTit cash payments, and free COVID test kits, as well as printing, copying, scanning, faxing and lamination services.
In addition to student services, the ASFC Welcome Center includes the Design Center, for professional design and printing services, including flyers, posters, logos, brochures, banners, full color prints, full size poster printing and mounting, and illustrations.
