Leonardo Blas is looking to make a difference in his community.
Blas started a new club, Culinary Arts for a Cause, a club with goals to raise money for the community through the culinary arts.
“I want to help my community in some way," Leonardo said. "This is how I can do that.”
The international student from Peru has spent time in the Dominican Republic studying medicine and the culinary arts before moving to California to pursue engineering here at Foothill. He is now in his fifth quarter.
