How can I access student services this spring?

All services will continue to operate online. We will also offer face to face services for all student services areas throughout the winter quarter, starting on Jan 3, 2022.  

What are the in-person hours for student services?

All services open Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.

The Health Center, Psychological Services and the Smart Shop will be open for in-person services on Fridays (Psych Services until 3 p.m.).

The rest of student services will offer virtual services on Fridays.  

Where do I go to talk to a person for general questions?

Visit our info booth in front of Admissions and Records (8000 building). 

Will counselors be available on campus this spring?

There are three options for counseling services:

  1. In-person based on availability
  2. Virtual
  3. Visit the counseling center (8300 Building) on campus to use a private “talk space” to meet with a counselor virtually.  

What are the bookstore hours? How do I get my books? 

The Foothill Bookstore hours are 9 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday through Thursday.  Any updates to these hours can be found at bkstr.com/foothillstore/store-hours

Will the library be open? Where can I study this winter?

Yes, the library will be open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. during spring quarter. Study rooms will be open for individual Zoom usage, along with group studying. See the library website for details.

Is WiFi available on campus? How do I access it? 

WiFi is available in many locations on campus including classrooms, labs, the library, dining areas and outside areas next to buildings.

Do I need to pay for parking this spring?

For the entire spring quarter, ticketing will not be enforced as long as students are parked legally.  

Is EOPS open?  

EOPS will be open in-person during the first week of spring quarter, Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m.

For the remaining spring quarter EOPS will be open Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and closed on Friday.  

EOPS participants will be able to check out laptops and calculators, access free printing services, and be provided supplies as available.

Our lab and study area will be open to limited spacing.

Full services will continue to be offered virtually and can be accessed via the EOPS website

I have a question about transferring and prerequisites, what should I do?
