Foothill College radio station KFJC 89.7 FM (and KFJC.org) will be airing special programming to celebrate and honor diversity. Aligning with Foothill College’s Heritage Months, specials will air throughout the KFJC schedule and will continue to be added throughout each month. Programs can also be streamed from the KFJC Broadcast Archives for two weeks after initial broadcast.

Featuring I am not your Negro. Join Sociology Professor, John Fox and Equity Librarian Laura Gamez, as they facilitate a discussion on the 2016 Oscar nominated documentary, based on James Baldwin’s unfinished manuscript, Remember this House. The film explores the history of racism in the 1970s through the eyes of Baldwin and stories of civil rights leaders such as Medgar Evers, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King Jr. Join us in the Hearthside Lounge on campus to watch the film!
