2010-2011	Executive Secretary and Political Action Committee Chair for the Faculty Association (FA PAC) of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District (FHDA CCD), a member of the CCCI (California Community College Independents). Served on Faculty Association of California Community Colleges Political Action Committee (FACCC PAC).
2008-2010	Negotiations Team Member for FA of the FHDA CCD.
2002-2010	Lecturer at Stanford University for undergraduates, graduates, and continuing studies.  Courses offered have included Germany After    the Wall; Political Economy of the New Europe:  the Eastern Enlargment of NATO and the EU; Election Politics: November 2006; American Foreign Policy Post-9/11; the Powers to Lead.
1991-2010	Professor at Foothill College. Courses taught have included American Government; American Government from a Minority Perspective; Introduction to Political Science; Introduction to Political Philosophy; Comparative Politics; International Relations; Russian and East European Politics; and Post-WWII Germany.
	Also served for two years as Writing Across the Curriculum Director, for six years on the Executive Council of FA,  and for three years on the Faculty Senate.
1990	Radio Free Europe. Worked as one of the last East German analysts.
1988	Research Consultant at RAND. Worked with Dr. Rose Gottemoeller as a researcher and translator.
