Biography:

Dr. Mona Rawal is an instructor at the Foothill College in the department of Philosophy and Humanities and she will be teaching a course in the Ancient Worlds.
Dr. Rawal has a PhD in the Philosophy of Mind and cognitive science with a major focus on the theory of Consciousness and Qualia. Her major interest is in Neurophilosophy and she wants to pursue further research in the area of Cognitive science and the Humanities.
Coming from a region with strong diversity and rich cultural experiences, teaching Humanities has become her second nature. She is extremely passionate about Art and Values in various time lines and would like to extend her insights to students in the humanities courses.
