Meet Yosimar ReyesWe are excited to host Yosimar Reyes as our keynote speaker for the 4th Annual Ethnic Studies Summit. He is a poet and performer from East San Jose with roots in Guerrero, Mexico, who gained early recognition for his impactful spoken word, such as his one-man show Prieto. He is the first undocumented poet laureate of Santa Clara County. Join us for a day to celebrate and learn about Ethnic Studies! Note: Space is limited.

Our annual event is meant to introduce and promote Ethnic Studies to our students so that they may walk away with a better understanding of how to apply Ethnic Studies to their education, apply it to their lives, and ultimately to take an Ethnic Studies course.
