I was born, raised, and did my undergraduate work in Wisconsin. I moved to San Francisco
in 2005, received my M.A. in Social Psychology from SFSU, and presently live in the
city with my husband, Will. Despite my Wisconsin roots, I’m a big Golden State Warriors
fan!
It is a privilege and an honor to contribute to the social fabric of the Bay Area
through being an educator. I love the Bay Area and this golden state. I know it
has its challenges, but you could say I hella love CA. I also enjoy traveling and
seeing the world. It's illuminating to become acquainted with new cultures and to
see the different ways that people live and love on this beautiful, crazy planet.
I have a big interest in biopsychology, cognitive psychology, social psychology, research
methods, and human sexuality. Ultimately, I approach psychology as an applied science;
what excites me the most is discovering knowledge about human behavior that can be
used to inspire personal insight and personal empowerment and can be applied toward
achieving greater social justice.
