John Wiley has been teaching at Foothill College since 1990. He began teaching in Japan in 1985 and received his MA in TEFL from San Francisco State University in 1990. In addition to teaching at Foothill, John has taught in several on-campus intensive programs for visiting and incoming international students. He spent five weeks in Brazil in summer 1996 as a representative of Foothill, teaching at a private high school in Sao Paulo. John has extensive experience teaching ESL in the workplace and was the recipient of the Faculty Recognition Award of Associate Faculty Excellence at Mission College in Santa Clara in 2002.
