Introduction

A Collaborative Project of the STEM Center, Business Innovation Challenge, and the Symposium for Research and Service Leadership, with  inter-disciplinary participation from departments and programs across the Foothill College campus.

NEWS and Announcements

(1) Invitation to Participate in 3 Events  --> 2020/Mar/11/Wed in STEM Center Room 4218:

• 11am-12noon, Room 4218 -- Kofi has arranged for a workshop on Quantum Computing. 
• 12noon-1pm, Room 4218:  Celebrate Pi-Day -- in recognition of Mathematics. -- Stop by and have some pie. Sponsored by the "Women In STEM" Club, and help from the Math department.
• 1pm-2pm, Room 4218:  Brief presentations and discussions regarding opportunities, for inter-disciplinary research and project participation, for The Garden, The Villaga, and EOPS student audiences 

(2) STEM Center Project Showcase Grand Opening --> 2020/Spring Quarter

• See interactive project displays, discover previous and current projects,
• Read about issues the world is facing today and potential topics for your project
• Learn how to build a project team, and clubs you can work with for your project.

Business Innovation Challenge

• Annual event
• Take the challenge! Learn to develop innovative business ideas that positively impact your community.
• See our five workshops in the link below!
• Then join your fellow Foothill College students to present your idea at the Business Innovation Challenge on March 6, 2020

Symposium for Research & Service Leadership

• Annual Event
• Applications Due March 13, 2020​

• Any type of research or community service project welcome!​
• Students can present posters or 10 min. talks​
• The symposium will be held on campus Thurs May 14, 2020​

2020/Winter Hours: Mon-Fri 10:00am-4:00pm Sat/Sun/CLOSED     Note:  During 2020/Winter, the STEM Center Project Showcase is unofficially open same hours as above, as we prepare for the 2020/Spring Grand Opening.  You are welcome to drop in for information, or provide feedback on the layout and useability of tthe facility.
