New Common Course Numbering (CCN) System Implemented for Fall 2025

Phase I of a state-mandated initiative — aimed at simplifying student transfer and ensuring uniformity in course numbers across California Community Colleges — is underway for Fall 2025. This impacts six Foothill courses plus their honors course version. View the six courses listed here.

Description: Introduction to the radiological sciences and its role in health care. Focus on the use of ionizing radiation in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and on the health professionals responsible for providing this medical specialty. Discussion of requirements for the Radiologic Technology Program. Three hours hospital observation included.

Footnote: Class runs from 09/22/2025- 11/10/25 R T -200L-01: Class will be in Room 5613 on Monday 9/22 and Monday 9/29 from 8:00-11:00 am and on Monday 10/6, Monday 11/3, and Monday 11/10 from 8:00–10:00 am. Each student will be assigned one 3-hour lab session in room 5305 on Tuesday 9/30 between 8 am-3 pm. One 3-hour clinic visit will also be assigned during the course. Lab and clinic visits will be assigned the first week of class. All students will complete 18 hours of instruction.
