New Common Course Numbering (CCN) System Implemented for Fall 2025

Phase I of a state-mandated initiative — aimed at simplifying student transfer and ensuring uniformity in course numbers across California Community Colleges — is underway for Fall 2025. This impacts six Foothill courses plus their honors course version. View the six courses listed here.

Class Section Letter Codes

When viewing a course in the schedule of classes, you will see a letter at the end of the class course section number IF that class is NOT being taught FULLY in person on campus. View section letter code definitions.

Due to a technical issue as of Sept. 21, 2025, some instructor names and profiles have dropped off the Foothill Directory Search, and their profiles with contact information are not displaying. We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Description: Competitive intercollegiate soccer emphasizing athletic skill and strategy development and performance through conference and post conference competition. Intended for participants of the women's soccer team.

Advisory: Advisory: Limitation on enrollment: Athletic tryout for intercollegiate team selection is required to enroll with permission of the instructor. Students will be required to have a physical prior to participation in the class. Students will be required to achieve and maintain sport-specific performance standards as evaluated by the instructor. Continued eligibility is determined by appropriate CCCAA academic and decorum rules.

Hours: 9 hours lab per week. 108 hours total per quarter.
