• Mar/26-27/Thu-Fri, STEM Center Tutoring Online CLOSED. 

 

 

STEM Center Online Access - for Students

 To access the Foothill College  online system, follow the process below: 

 

Section 1:  Hardware you will need

Below is the hardware you will need to be able to provide tutoring online

• Laptop
• Headset

 

 

Section 2:  Software you will need

Below is the software you will need to be able to provide tutoring online

• ZOOM -- Connect via the web:  Simply click on the link and you will be connected:  foothill.edu/tutoring/online/student.html 

 

 

Section 3:  Using the Tutoring Online System

Please follow the steps below when accessing the Foothill College Tutoring Online System

1. Log in to the ZOOM session
2. See Section 4 below, and click on the appropriate link for your class
3. In the Chat window, please type in what class and topic you need help with
4. Wait for one of the Tutors to place you in a Breakout Session

 

Section 4:  Tutoring Online:  CS Lab 

Select the appropriate STEM Center Tutoring Lab to connect to the correct ZOOM session

• Pass The Torch (PTT) Tutoring Support:  Zoom link to be provided
• TLC and STEM Center (all Labs except CS) tutoring support :  "Zoom link to be provided"
• STEM Center:  Computer Science (CS Lab) Tutoring:   https://fhda-edu.zoom.us/j/745523298 
  • NOTE: Tutors available ONLY during the below hours: 
    • Mon-Thu :  9am–12midnight
    • Fri: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
    • Sat: 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
    • Sun :  11am –12 Midnight
