Study Lab Rooms and Hours for 2019/Summer Quarter
The STEM Center is divided into 6 areas of study, referred to as "Labs". You will find Foothill College faculty ready to help you understand the concepts you are studying. Be sure to strike up a conversation with your instructor! Many are here after full careers in industry, and have valuable experience to share.

The STEM Center Main Lab is an inviting and comfortable place for students to get help with astronomy, mathematics, physics, chemistry, engineering, and biology.

- Want to grab lunch while you work? We’ve got a microwave, and you are welcome to eat while you work with our instructors.
- Need a quiet space? We’ve got a place for that. The Quiet room, where no conversations or tutoring are permitted, to accomodate students that need a quiet area to study.
- Need a private study space? Our small study rooms allow for quiet conversation without distraction.
- Need some help with a vexing problem? Our instructors are scheduled throughout the day to help you one-on-one, and we can also schedule time to help your study group on a weekly basis.

The Foundations Lab provides help for students in the introductory Math and Chemistry courses, including Math 48ABC, MATH 180, MATH 105, MATH 10 and MATH 217, as well as Chem 30A, Chem 30B, and Chem 25. (English Tutoring at the Foundations Lab is still to be determined).
You’ll find computers and software in this lab, as well as dedicated Instructors who are patient and happy to help you. If you are enrolled in one of these courses, you can even check out a calculator for the quarter - free of charge!
Business Lab (Accounting and Economics) Room 4203

The Business Lab will remain CLOSED for the entire summer, and will reopen for the 2019/Fall quarter.
During open hours, experienced instructors are available to help you with concepts in any of your accounting or economics courses.
Computer Lab Room 4204

The Computer Lab will remain CLOSED for the entire summer, and will reopen for the 2019/Fall quarter.
Instructors are here to help you better understand general computer science concepts.
You can get help with programming and debugging, as well as support for your C++, Java and Python classes. Instructors will also help you find useful online resources.
Computer Science Online Tutoring

Biology Lab (Room 4206)
2019/Spring Quarter
The Biology Lab will remain ACCESSIBLE for the entire summer session, however there will be no tutors available.
Monday-Thu: 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., access by request
Biology tutors are available to help you master content from your human anatomy and physiology, microbiology, and other related biology courses.
This lab also features a human skeleton model, human muscle models, and a microscope to view various tissue slides.
