A Program with a Purpose

The Professional Learning program at Foothill is a top college priority.  We are facing so many new challenges with technology, accreditation,  Generation Z students, returning veterans and more, that we believe it is important to provide new "tools" and resources to support faculty and staff to effectively support student learning.

The program is designed to support the continuous development of knowledge and skills for the Foothill campus community. It includes a robust calendar of workshops and events from a variety of areas on campus including the Office of Equity, the Office of Instruction, the Office of Online Learning, and the Office of Student Services.  Our events are open to all FHDA district employees.

Professional Learning Newsletter

The Office of Equity and Professional Learning publishes a monthly newsletter that highlights equity and social justice-related professional learning opportunities coming from Foothill as well as from external providers.
