As the Latinx college-going population grows in the state of California, it is our responsibility at Foothill to ensure that we are providing the resources and support needed for you to be successful.
As such, we have put together a virtual resource fair to familiarize you and your family with our campus programs/services and your Foothill allies.

TUESDAY, OCT. 6, 2020
- Foothill Presentations in English AND Spanish — about Financial Aid, Counseling, Student Activities, and more, with breakout sessions.
- Presentations will be followed by a 30-minute closing sessions, to include a Student Meet-and-Greet, Q&A in English, Q&A in Spanish.
- You'll join by Zoom. The password for all sessions is OWLS.
Community and familia are so important within our cultures. We hope this event will provide you with the meaningful connections you need to guide you along your journey with us.

6–6:15 p.m. Welcome to Foothill College
Welcome to Foothill College! Meet President Thuy Nguyen and be present for a raffle giveaway!
Counseling and Transfer: Learn about our Counseling department and how we can help you create a plan to achieve your goals for transferring and earning an associate degree
Financial Aid and EOPS: Want to know how to get free money to pay for college? Join us to learn about the Foothill College Promise grant, the EOPS program, and other financial aid services.
6:50–7:20 p.m. Breakout Session One
ASFC / Puente Club: Join this session if you are interested in student government and clubs. Hear directly from our student leaders in AFSC and the Puente Club.
Family Engagement Institute: FEI is a student equity initiative that provides opportunities and inspires aspirations that promote college identity, equitable access, and retention for historically marginalized and underserved students and families.
Library and TLC: Need to check out textbooks for free? Need tutoring? Come to this session o learn more.
DRC/Psychological Services: Join this session if you have a high school IEP or just want to know more about assistive services and technologies at Foothill.
Honors: Everyone can be an Honors student at Foothill! Ask questions about our Honors program, the annual Honors Symposium, and transfer agreements with UCLA and UC Irvine.
Admissions & Records: Unsure how to register using MyPortal? Do you have AP scores or other college credit? Learn how to clear prerequisites and more.
