Foothill English & STEM Placement

Foothill English & STEM Placement

All incoming students are required to complete the Foothill English & STEM Assessment for Placement if you need to enroll in English or math courses, or any course with an English or math prerequisite. Before you begin please read the following:

• The Foothill English & STEM Assessment for Placement can only be taken one time
• Have an unofficial copy of your high school transcripts as reference to answer the placement questions
• When asked please report your cumulative unweighted high school GPA
• If you are unable to attain your high school transcripts please answer the questions to the best of your knowledge
• The placement questionnaire will take around 10-15 minutes to complete. If you get timed out (45 mins) you must contact the Foothill Testing and Assessment Office to regain access
• If you are unsatisfied with your placement or you need to make changes your placement answers please contact the Testing and Assessment Center
