Katherine Lin Candidate's Statement: Hi! My name is Katherine, I am currently a first-year Biology major at Foothill and the Equity and Inclusion Officer on ASFC. Throughout my time here, I have had the privilege of connecting with various student groups and exploring the extensive range of campus resources. Dedicated to improving student access to physical health resources (hygiene supplies, clinics, insurance information), mental health services (increasing counseling options), international integration (multilingual support, housing access), and STEM opportunities (course variety, laboratory funding, volunteering and internship partnerships), I promise to create a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for our community.

Ocean Fleskes Candidate's Statement: Hi my name is Ocean, I'm a first year majoring in environmental science and I'm running for the Senator position. I like Foothill and the people here a lot and I'm motivated to better our campus and uplift our students with increased accessibility. Projects I'd like to pursue are more affordable food options, improved garden spaces, and more social spaces for studying and hanging out. As a person I really like botany, exploring, cars, taking pictures and music. As your senator I'd really like working hard for you!

Krish Amit Sangani Candidate's Statement: Hi, my name is Krish Sangani, and I am running for Senator of Foothill College! I am here to serve not only the people but also the experiences that shape them. As a member of the Foothill President's Board and the Treasurer of the Gay-Straight Alliance, I've worked to build connections with various groups across campus, understanding our present challenges. Many students feel uncertain, overwhelmed, or anxious about their futures. My goal is to create a community workshop that provides transfer guidance, career coaching, and general mentorship to help ease these concerns and support everyone on their paths to success.

Khang Nguyen Candidate's Statement: Hi! I'm Khang and I am running to be one of your senators this upcoming year. I'm majoring in physics at Foothill, but I love learning and talking about almost anything(I recently spoke about working smarter by sleeping at TEDx Foothill college!). My hobbies include working out, playing saxophone, and wandering around campus. You might see me at FH in the STEM center sometimes because I also work part time there as a physics tutor. Besides academics and clubs, I want to involve myself more with student government to give back and improve the experience for the next generations:)

This year I have been serving as a Specialty Program Liaison for the Senate Board where I've been able to learn about senator projects and how to implement positive changes on campus. While in ASFC I've collaborated with various groups and worked on creating volunteer opportunities for students.
